Rialto StageThe Rialto Center for the Arts features a semi-permanent orchestra shell consisting of eight pivoting panels that are 7 feet wide and over 22 feet tall and 3 overhead acoustical panels (clouds) that are attached to lighting troughs. The pivoting panels are birch wood on one side and black velour on the other side. The panels serve as wing masking. These panels cannot track on or off stage and are the only side masking available. The overhead clouds are hinged and store in a vertical position against the trough and are obscured by black velour borders when not in use. The overhead clouds limit but do not completely rule out the use of overhead lighting, other than the trough orchestra lighting. Stage Dimensions
